Get Ready For Android Smartwatch

Google has done it again. The search giant has entered an all new market of hi-tech watches. Google has created a special operating system for smartwatches. The new android smartwatch will be released by the end of 2014.

Google Operating system, Android, currently powers more than 1 billion tabs and smartphones. With Android smartwatch, google has created an all new segment. Some people are seeing it as a revolutionary move. The smartwatch version of the OS will be called ‘Android Wear’.

In this “Android Wear”, Google has introduced a personal assistant named ‘Google Now’. Using this Android Wear Smartwatch, you will be able give commands to the personal assistant, the smartwatch will give you ambient alerts, show you directions, and notifications for meetings and notes.

Many Mobile creators have shows interest in this new technology. Motorola has already started working on an ‘Android Wear’ called Moto 360.

LG G Smartwatch

Along with Motorola, LG is also working on Android smartwatch called “G watch”, Which is to debut by the end of the year.

The best part is that these watches will be compatible with lots of android smartphones.

Apart from Motorola and LG, Google will also be teaming up with Asus, HTC , Samsung, and chip makers Broadcom, Imagination, Intel, Mediatek and Qualcomm will also be working on Android Smartwatch.

Now everything depends on the price of these smartwatch. Android Wear is the biggest thing that has happened in the Smartwatches, and it has sure created a lot of buzz.

It is also rumoured that Apple is also for planning for smart-watches later this year, but there has been no official word from Apple regarding this issue.
