Google has released the first ever Beta update for the Android Nougat 7.1.2. This Update will be available for the following smartphones and devices:

Google Pixel, Google Pixel XL, Google Pixel C, Nexus 5x, Nexus 6p and Nexus Player.

This update has come as to deal with the issues users are facing on Android Nougat.

What are Issues with Android Nougat?

Some of the issues are:

  • sometimes Quick Setting options is not visible to the users.
  • When a physical keyboard is attached to the smartphone, the pixel launcher is crashing.
  • app hanging.
  • Wi-Fi issues
  • SMS are not restoring after device to device data transfer.

Who will not receive this update?

some of the smartphones which won’t be getting the update are Nexus 6 and Nexus 7. However, they will still receive security updates.
