So Its 1st April 2012. As expected, Google came up with its creativity prank. They introduced Google 8-bit Map.

On their Official YouTube Channel, Google said “Google Maps is now available for 8-bit Nintendo Entertainment Systems (NES). Availability in Google Store is TBD but you can try it on your browser by going to http://maps.google.com and clicking “Quest” in the upper right hand corner of the map.”

First you will notice that there is nothing wrong in Accessing the 8-bit Google Map . Use it as you usually would do to search for places and countries, then click on the Quest picture icon in the right area of the screen to view the map as large colored pixels.

Now when you will try to load the map (after clicking quest), you may see: Your system may not meet the requirements for 8-bit computations.

 Google At It’s Best :D
