However, attaining expert status is not something that is acquired, but earned. If you consistently present yourself professionally and offer valuable content, people are likely to start considering you an expert in your niche.

The following are some tips that can help you earn the expert status.

1. Find the right niche for your website

Many people read widely about a specific subject, and then think that they are experts based on that knowledge. However, having a lot of information about a niche does not mean that you are an expert. Make sure you choose a niche in which you have substantial experience. For instance, don’t write about ‘How to get 10,000 ‘likes’ on your Facebook page’ when your page has only 500 likes. This will only put off the readers.
