There are two ways to take backup of your data on iOS device. First, you can do it by backing u all the data on iOS cloud. You need to have a good internet connection to backup data on cloud.
Second way is to connect your device to PC and use iTunes to take complete backup. We recommend using iTunes as it is quite fast and you won’t be charged a penny for it.

Go to settings and click on General setting. If your device is compatible for iOS 9 update, then you will see a notification on the software update tab like shown below in the image. Now, click on software update, and it will check for available software updates for your iOS device.
It will take some time to check for the update and make sure that you are connected with a good internet connection, as it will download 1 GB files.
Once the process is complete, you will be asked to install the update to your device.
Click on the option and now sit back. Your device will restart and configure itself a couple of times.
